I only discovered Fey Winds a little while ago but I really enjoyed catching up with the story. I couldn't help but think of this scenario and want to draw it out.

I put it into a blog post with some other webcomic fan art on my own webcomic site, The Princess Planet. including some other Tom Geeks strips. While I am not a lady, I do make a fantasy comic with women and girls in mind so I appreciate the Tomgeeks a lot!

(and this is something that could definitely happen to poor Larry lol) I love how you've got tons of stuff going on here, all the little details and all the characters' expressions look great! Nicole, I'm glad you dig the picture. I look at other people's great art but seldom take the time to give them a high 5 and I decided to start doing that more. I normally am not a big fan of painterly colour in a comic, but I think that's the North American comics I see on the stands every week where the colourists are overworking the pencillers art or making up for the empty space they left. Your colours are amazing like proper European BD, and a one person with vision operation. While a comic like Order of the Stick makes the simple side of the fence seem brilliant, you make the opposite, painterly side seem equally brilliant. So hoorays for your awesomes!

Also, don't underestimate the wand, it can zap you into a toad at 100 paces! I'd hate to find out you stopped making Fey Winds because some warlock turned you into something without an opposable thumb. Razz

This fan art does bring up a interesting notion. So far, Larina has only been possessed by annoying sprits, but I have a feeling that there are some evil spirits out there that we might get to meet in the near future. An on a related note, how about super helpful friendly spirits? Surely there must be a couple of them around... somewhere.

Thanks! I read a lot of BD and it's an art form I really admire, so I try to make FW with the same look and feel in mind. Smile

You have a point about the wands, and I certainly need my thumbs, but at the same time they're just so adorable looking! Wink

Icekatze - Murphy's Law dictates that there are in fact, never any helpful spirits around when you need them! As for the really nasty spirits, there's always a disctinct possibility that something like that could happen! Smile
