hi hi

It is hard to tell how Fox social structures would be different. If I were to hazard an educated guess, I would say they probably play dominance games much like cats and dogs do and pinning the other down would be sort of normal.

When I did a search for fox social behavior I found an astounding report about how genetic researchers domesticated foxes within 40 generations (fox generations) and that the domesticated variety displayed similar behavior to domesticated dogs.

hi hi

There's a not really that old saying that goes something like this: "If you face an enemy you cannot defeat, the only way to win is to deny him battle." Likewise, when you are faced with a question that is impossible to rightly answer, sometimes the best way to deal with it is to decline.

On the other hand...I think Nigel likes the attention... Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Is it just me or do Kit's eyes really light up on this page?

I admit I'd answer that question. But then I admit I like Kit, I think it's the Freckled, hyper curious thing she has going on. Cool

ok, i'm probably being really dense here but i don't get why nigel couldn't just say 'yes' the the second panel. why did he say 'theres no right way to answer that question.' could someone explain please?

and kits 'weird, it makes me kinda... happy to know that' was just the best line ever. its like shes searching for the right word, she so doesn't get human emotions, its so cute... (also i don't think she got the right word. haha)

You do know that 'get off' has more than one meaning? XD Even if Kit doesn't get it, Nigel does and it makes him feel awkward. To explain further would be breaking forum rules, so if you need further explanation, head on over to urban dictionary. :P

Also I think 'happy' is likely a good word? It's pretty generic and covers a lot of bases.

OMG, noow i get it. *rolls round on floor laughing* i will view this page in a whole new light now ;p

i thought it was more cute the way she had to search for the right word and how she has no embrassment in saying it. it shows how naive she is Razz

but yeah 'happy' pretty much sums it up Very Happy

hi hi

I'm not sure I agree with that interpretation, it is certainly a possibility, but somehow I doubt that is what he's referring to.

I think it is more likely that he doesn't think that asking Kit to get off is a right way to answer because he; A, could bruise her ego since rejecting physical contact with another person often hurts their feelings and lowers their self esteem; B, Saying that he wants her to get off of him would be lying because he enjoys it but understands that her intentions are quite unaligned with his.

icekatze, i thought it was B before then i thought it was weird why he'd acctually admit it so i was back to being confused. and A never seemed likely to me because i didn't think kit got the whole situation in the first place so there wouldn't be much for her to take offense at.

sorry Embarassed

but of course i could be completely wrong.

kewdles one just makes more sense and makes me crack up Very Happy

I don't want to say whether Nigel's mind was in the gutter or not, it would spoil my fun XD But both Kewdle's and Icekatze's theories are possible! Wink

(well...one of Icekatze's theories at least!)

hi hi

Kit may have thrown a curve ball at Nigel last time, but this time she's going super easy on him. Rather than no right answer, this time there is really only one right answer.

Maybe I'm bad with words (ok, I know I am) but part of me feels like Nigel should be saying something, I mean here Kit is baring her soul, spilling her guts and he's just sitting there like she's talking to a brick wall. metaphor c-c-combo But the other part of me feels like perhaps he really shouldn't be interrupting her at all. What would you do?

Also, am I the only one that is worried about Kit's choice of words when she says nothing in this world will stop her? Foreshadowing maybe? Does Keres count as being in this world now that she's in a golem or perhaps she counts as being from another world because thats where she was summoned from? OooOoooOOoooOo

On a side note, I know I might have asked this before, but you do you do the grass effect? Are they smudged, is it a custom brush, or other?
